THERAPEUTIC DAY TREATMENT

Therapeutic day treatment serves Arkansas students in kindergarten through 12th grades who have problems functioning in a traditional school setting.

In this program, students work with a multidisciplinary team to address their educational, behavioral, emotional and social needs.

Therapeutic day treatment combines the best of classroom instruction with mental and behavioral health services to address educational, behavioral, emotional and social needs of children. Utilizing a team of therapists, behavioral experts and educational staff, Methodist Family Health supports student learning and successful therapy outcomes under one roof.

Our Proven Approach

Our program offers:

  • Small classroom sizes.
  • Individualized instruction, so teachers can focus on a particular issue or problem a student is facing.
  • Individual therapy and group therapy five days a week.
  • Family therapy two times a month.

Exceptional Staff

All teachers are certified in special education with 10 or more years of experience. Our teachers cover the whole curriculum, and with behavioral staff on board, each student can work on her or his issues without feeling threatened, ostracized or bullied.

With a psychiatrist and psychologist on staff, Methodist Family Health also is able to address medication needs any student may have.
