Residential Treatment Centers
The Psychiatric Residential Treatment Care Center (RTC) is an inpatient Methodist Children’s Home program that has two locations: Little Rock (Pulaski County) and Bono (Craighead County).
The program cares for children and adolescents, ages 6 to 17, in a planned living and learning atmosphere in a group home setting. Psychotherapeutic interventions include: weekly individual therapy, daily therapy or skill groups, family therapy, regular and special education classes, and recreational activities. The program provides treatment of mental disorders diagnosed by a mental health professional. Length of stays are generally 4-6 months or longer.
Referrals to the RTCs include the state Division of Children and Family Services, parents, mental health clinics, churches, psychiatric hospitals, and other programs within the MFH Continuum.
Methodist Family Health’s Little Rock RTC is located at 2002 S. Fillmore St., Little Rock, and the Dacus RTC is located at 211 W. Church St., Bono.
