Donate to Methodist Family Health to Help Arkansas Children and Families

Since 1899, Methodist Family Health has helped rebuild the lives of Arkansas children and their families. These children have been abandoned, abused, neglected, and they are dealing with mental, emotional, behavioral and spiritual issues.

Would you share your light of hope with the thousands of children and families throughout Arkansas Methodist Family Health serves each year? Your contribution makes it possible for Methodist Family Health to continue our mission of giving the best possible care to children and families by treating the whole person: emotionally, behaviorally and spiritually.

Methodist Family Health receives no apportionment support from the Arkansas Conference of the United Methodist Church; instead, we rely heavily on donations made through this special offering at Christmas. Your donation will be used to support children and families who receive care from Methodist Family Health’s programs and services including inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, outpatient counseling clinics, grief counseling services, residential treatment centers, group homes, emergency shelter and more.

Your donation helps Methodist Family Health transform the lives of children and families in Arkansas.

Please give as you are able. You will be Sharing YOUR Light with a child and family in need.

Methodist Family Health is dedicated to reclaiming and rebuilding the lives of children and youth.

Krysta White grew up in a Methodist Family Health group home. Today, she is a college graduate, wife, mom and valued employee of Methodist Family Health, a true success story. She works directly with children who are scared, confused and often abused and neglected. In their eyes, she sees herself, just a few years ago.

If you’ve been blessed this year, we encourage you to be a blessing to others.

Here’s what a few of our generous donors have to say about giving:

“In a culture where people are often cast aside and forgotten, Methodist Family Health is about the business of reclaiming and rebuilding lives in a way that honors others and gives glory to God.”

Rev. Britt Skarda, Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, Little Rock

“I have been inspired by Methodist Family Health’s commitment to care for the mind, body and soul. They provide an environment of hope and healing so that individuals will not just survive but thrive.”

Rev. Keith Dodson, First United Methodist Church, El Dorado

“I know firsthand that there are kids who would be forgotten if it were not for ministries like Methodist Family Health. Given a place to be loved, challenged and nurtured, ‘forgotten kids’ can become success stories.”

Rev. David Orr, First United Methodist Church, Searcy

“What more worthy organization could we support at Christmas? Methodist Family Health is making a difference in the lives of children and families throughout the state, seeking each day to become better at offering healing for the whole person – behaviorally, emotionally and spiritually.”

Rev. Siegfried Johnson, St. James United Methodist Church, Little Rock

Be a light!

For 2017, an anonymous donor has agreed to provide a one-to-one match to contributions made by new donors (or increased gifts from existing donors), up to $10,000. As a result, gifts to Methodist Family Health’s “Share the Light” campaign will go further and help more children and families than ever before.

Thank you for your support! Your generosity helps Methodist Family Health provide stability, hope and peace to children and their families across Arkansas.
