Therapeutic Day Treatment Program
The Therapeutic Day Treatment Program, with two schools located on the Camp Aldersgate Campus in Little Rock and at the Magale Therapeutic Day Treatment School in Magnolia, provides services for students ages 5-18 (K -12) with behavioral, emotional, and/or learning problems.
The program addresses the needs of youth who need more structured, intensive services than public schools provide, yet may not need residential placement. Students' educational goals follow the Arkansas Frameworks for academic skill acquisition and credit is given for their educational time. Students work with a multidisciplinary team to address their educational, behavioral, emotional and social needs. The staff of educational therapists, behavioral instructors, mental health therapists and psychiatrists work as a team, and they meet at least once weekly to evaluate the student’s progress and needs.
